Junior Infants celebrate ‘100 days of School’
There was a great buzz in school last Friday as our Junior Infants celebrated ‘100 days of School’. The boys and teachers made a big effort to dress up as a centenarian. There were very elaborate wigs, fancy walking sticks and peaked hats all on view. Thanks to Ms. Friel, Ms. Killane, Ms. Dardis and Ms. Byrne for organising this event.

Table Tennis
Team IV (Leo Wright, Ronan Kennedy, Nathan Hannon, Kenneth Callan, Michael Kilcullen and Mark McEvilly) lost narrowly to a great Our Lady’s, Ballinteer team on Wednesday. Thanks to Mr. Clandillon and Mr. Lynch for all the time they give to our table tennis teams.

Well done to Karas Ramzy, Hamza Youssef and Yaha Youssef who entertained us with information about Egypt last Friday on the school intercom. Yahya gave us interesting facts about Egypt. Karas told us about his own life in Arabic and Hamza recited a poem in Arabic about ‘Birds of the River Nile’. We look forward to hearing more about France tomorrow.

We have a guest speaker joining us from Google who will speak on the night. The topic will be ‘An insight into Online Gaming and YouTube; the positives, the negatives and the in between’. This will provide insights and tools to help parents encourage our children's creativity while providing safeguards to allow them to do so.
The PA also require new officers for the below posts:

New officers should be available to start in these roles in September 2025 for the next school year. These new posts will ensure the future running of our wonderful PA. If you are interested in filling any of the above officer posts then please email parents.association@stmarysbnslucan.com for more information.
