Our Parents’ Association will organise a tea and coffee morning for parents of boys in Junior Infants. This is a good opportunity to get to know some of the parents in your son’s class.
Join the Parents’ Association – St. Mary’s BNS, Lucan
We invite you to join the Parents’ Association at St. Mary’s Boys’ NS, Lucan. Our next meeting is on Wednesday 8th October at 8.30pm in St. Mary’s BNS. We aim to have 2–3 parent reps per class. This allows parents to rotate and attend our monthly meetings without putting the burden on just one person. We would be delighted to see new parents come along and get involved. Please email parentsassociation@stmarysbnslucan.com if you are interested.
Dublin Ladies Senior All-Ireland Gaelic Football Champions visiting St. Mary’s BNS on Friday 19th September
The Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football team had an amazing season this year, winning the All-Ireland Football Championship. Paul Casey is a past pupil of our school and he was their manager. Paul has agreed to bring the cup to the school on Friday 19th September so we are asking all boys to wear their Dublin jerseys to school next Friday. If they don’t have a Dublin jersey then they can wear any blue jersey or jumper on the day. Abbey Shields was their goalkeeper and she plays with Lucan Sarsfields. Up the Dubs!
Electric Scooters
Please remember that it is illegal for e-scooters to travel on footpaths. It is also illegal to carry children on e-scooters as they are designed for single-person use.

The Cumann na mBunscol leagues began today. St. Mary’s has four squads competing this year; two junior and two senior squads. Our Senior 1 Squad play Bishop Galvin, Templeogue in Lucan Sarsfields, whilst our Senior 2 Squad travel to Cherryfield, Ballyboden to play Ballyroan BNS. Thanks to Mr. Walsh, Mr. Shanahan, Mr. R.
