04-December-25

Dear Parents,

School Uniform

Boys may only wear their school tracksuit on days that they have PE. The only exception to this is for boys who train with school teams at lunch break. Please remember that black hoodies and Lucan Sarsfields tops, for example, are not school tracksuits and are not acceptable. Hats and caps are not to be worn in the school building or classrooms and earrings must be covered by plasters at all times. It is the parents’ responsibility to ensure plasters cover earrings on a daily basis.

No Smartphone Code’ Survey

Thanks to everyone who completed our ‘No Smartphone Code’ survey to delay the purchase of a smartphone or smartwatch. Having buy-in from the majority of parents will help you to stand up to the pester power from your children. As outlined in last week's Thursday Letter, please find attached the Google Form link asking you to agree or disagree with delaying the purchase of a smartphone for your son until he leaves primary school. All responses to this Google Form will be kept anonymous. Please respond before Friday 5th December.
